| SGCC started its first training class for qualified managers on Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Advanced Training Center of SGCC in Beijing.
The program will offer three major training sessions including CSR practice, Comprehensive CSR Management in SGCC, and Teaching Skill Improvement. Executives and experts from SGCC headquarter, government departments and national research institutions will deliver lectures during the training. Subsidiaries that have carried out pilot CSR management projects will share their experiences with the trainees by their thinking and CSR practices at regional, provincial, municipal and county levels respectively. The training includes different teaching methods including lectures, cases study and class exercises to enhance the trainees¡¯ understanding of CSR theories and their teaching skills as well. The trainees will take the responsibility to give CSR lessons for their colleagues within each subsidiary. Those with excellent performance will have the opportunity to assume training, research and exchanging responsibility at a higher level.
Among all central SOEs, SGCC is the first to hold such training program . The objective of such training is to carry out the idea of improving CSR management through pilot projects, provide qualified trainers for internal training and promote experimental projects. It is also expected that external communication and CSR awareness could be further enhanced from grassroots to the top management. By this CSR personnel training, SGCC will improve its CSR practices, speed up the transformation of corporate development and power grid development, therefore achieve the sustainable development of both SGCC and China¡¯s society. |
