Shanghai Municipal Government and SGCC officially signed the strategic cooperation agreement on the smart grid construction on July 25th 2010 in Shanghai. According to the agreement, both sides will launch the cooperation in depth regarding accelerating the construction of SGCC Shanghai Smart Grid R&D Center, accelerating the construction of the electric vehicle charging stations and charging poles, promoting the construction of FTTH project, promoting the industrialization of sodium sulfur battery, and further expanding and improving the pilot application of smart grid.
Shanghai Electric Group Company, Shanghai Electric Power Company and Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanghai Institute of Ceramics co-signed the cooperation agreement on promoting the industrialization of sodium sulfur battery.
Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee Yu Zhengsheng, SGCC President & CEO Liu Zhenya and Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences Yin Hejun attended the signing ceremony.
