On November 7th, it is issued at the symposium on SGCC's Loving Fund management and brand promotion that SGCC's Loving Fund management has been regularized and boosted steadily in the previous year.  In 2007, the sum of its donation amounts to RMB 174 million Yuan and brought about very positive social feedbacks.

At present, the "SGCC Love Fund for the Disabled" is carrying out "Everlasting Love • Moving Aid" Project, which offers the disabled with artificial limbs and wheelchairs and equips 146 civilian airports in China with motion-aid facilities. The"SGCC Love Fund for the Old"brought benefits for over 9,800 elderly people in 6 provinces (autonomous regions, or municipalities directly under the Central Government) like Hubei province. The "SGCC Love Fund for the Hope Project"will be established soon, aiming to build over 100 Hope Project primary schools. This year, SGCC also contributed a lot to 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games (Shanghai) and some flood-stricken provinces in China.

Under the guidance of SGCC Headquarters, provincial level power grid companies carried out various charity activities with different focuses such as, besides the aid for the disabled, the old and the rural students, contribution to rural hospitals, preferential treatment for families of military servicemen and martyrs, caring for orphans, etc.  By the end of July this year, provincial level power grid companies have donated over RMB 49.1092 million Yuan, 56.45% of its annual planned amount, and materials which cost about RMB 1.3267 million Yuan. All these activities enriched the forms and connotations of SGCC's contribution for building a harmonious society and promoted SGCC's public image as a socially responsible corporation.
