Corporate Social Responsibility Report 2010

"State Grid Social Corporate Responsibility Report 2010"was released in Beijing on February 16. It is the first social responsibility report to be released since China entered the "12thr Plan" period and also the sixth social responsibility report consecutively published by State Grid. The corporation has been in the frontier of corporate social responsibility research and implementation during the 11th Five-Year Plan period.

The Report, 94 pages and over 50 thousand words, described State Grid's implementation on social responsibilities, its strategies, actions and achievements on sustainable development during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, especially the year 2010. The purpose of making such a social report was explained for the first time. It also revealed the close relationship between performing social responsibilities and creating comprehensive value. The Report also published the most concerned topics on corporate responsibilities for the first time, summarized the corporationí»s progress and achievements during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, took a retrospective look at its fulfillment in 2010 and proposed the objectives for 2011.

Peng Huagang from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Yu Yanshan from the State Electricity Regulatory Commission and Yin Gefei from Peking University's international research center for social responsibility and sustainable development attended the conference and they shared the same high opinion towards the Report.
